Warner Bros. teams up with Web3 startup Eluvio to launch Lord of the Rings’ NFTs
The studio has partnered with Eluvio to launch “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring” Web3 experience. Each NFT features a 4K copy of the extended edition of the movie as well as behind-the-scenes footage, photos, and exclusive assets inspired by the film. There will be two different versions of the NFT: Mystery Edition (10,000 copies) & Epic Edition (999 copies). “Lord of the Rings” fans can head to web3.wb.com/warnermedia/movieverse and create an Eluvio media wallet.
INTERPOL has entered the #Metaverse
The global police organization unveiled the first Metaverse at a surprise session of the 90th INTERPOL General Assembly in New Delhi. The INTERPOL Metaverse allows users to tour a virtual facsimile of the INTERPOL General Secretariat headquarters in Lyon, France. Additionally, users can even take immersive training courses in forensic investigation and other policing capabilities. According to the INTERPOL Global Crime Trend report, crime has increasingly moved online as the pace of digitalization has increased. Therefore, we should soonly shape the necessary governance frameworks and cut off future criminal markets before they are fully formed.

Turkey taps blockchain for e-Human project, President Erdoğan announces
Turkey’s e-Human project aims to increase employability and support the development of the citizens. In detail, it is a digital service point based on blockchain to keep all services, data and capabilities protected. The Turkish presidency shares services’ data and tools to career, remote education and talent acquisition.
Vietnam Blockchain Summit 2022
Patroned by the Government Cipher Committee, Vietnam Blockchain Summit 2022 was held for the first time on October 19th-20th. It included 35+ sessions with more than 100 speakers discussing topics: blockchain, DeFi, NFTs, Metaverse, Web3, DAOs, etc. Specially, the number of nearly 18,000 participants proved the readiness of Vietnamese tech enthusiasts to adapt and develop.
Azuki introducing the physical backed token (PBT)
Physical Backed Token is an open source token standard tying physical items to its digital token on the Ethereum blockchain. Specifically, Azuki created “BEAN Chip” for the “scan-to-own” experience just by using your phone. PBT is used to authenticate decentralized goods, track physical goods’ ownership lineage, create digital experiences from physical products and more.
